Two best friends with a mutual love for romance novels, Erin and Katie formed Southern Belle in December 2013. From late 2013 through the end of 2017, we spent our days sharing our love of past, present and future romance novels by some of our favorite authors. After many years of promotional work within the blog, in 2018 we shifted our focus entirely to our upcoming author events. We’re incredibly excited and honored to have hosted many author events since 2014 including Holidays with the Belles, Big Apple Author Event, Black & Gold Author Event and more. We’ve traveled all over the U.S. bringing readers closer to their favorite authors. Our signings provide an organized, intimate and fun experience in a setting where we take initiative to minimize the stress and rushing of the event and maximize fangirling time for all.

What time is the event?
The event begins at 1:00 PM and will end at 5:00 PM for all. No early admission or VIP tickets are available.
Where will the event be held?
The event is hosted in the Oregon Ballroom Salons A-E at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront.
Is there a room block for the event?
You may reserve a room within our discounted room block at the event hotel, the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront, for $189.00 here!
Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 AM on June 2, 2017 for $15.00 each here!
Will tickets be available at the door?
Any tickets that do not sale online will be available at the door. If the event sales out prior to June 2, 2018, no tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Anyone with a printed ticket or ability to show their ticket via their smartphone will not be required to show ID. We will ask for ID to match the name on the ticket if Eventbrite ticket is not visible. Children 14 and under are free.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are refundable prior to 30 days before event. No refunds will be made after May 3, 2018. Transfers will be available through May 19, 2018.
Are we allowed to bring books from home?
Yes! Feel free to bring as many as you can hold or roll!
Will there be any models in attendance?
No models will be in attendance. It’s not that we don’t love them and adore the event hosts that choose to host models. We just prefer to keep the focus on the attending authors at our events.
What if I don’t have a book for every author to sign?
It’s totally okay. Readers are so creative and come up with some of the most unique items to have signed. Bring a Kindle cover, a tote bag, a homemade notebook to showcase your favorite authors. They’re tickled to sign any and all!
Are there any other events planned such as an after party?
No further events are scheduled once the event ends at 5:00 PM.
Will I be able to meet every attending author?
With our ticketing process, we’re hopeful that you’ll walk away with a signature, hug and picture from every author you’d like to meet.

All attending authors were by invite only, but we’d love to have you sign up for our wait list here!
